PickleCon is thrilled to once again be hosting the PickleCon Amateur Tournament, open to players ages 19+ and skill levels 3.0 and above. With registrants from 39 states attending last year, expect fresh competition and new faces—not just the usual suspects from your local courts!

Tournament Details:

Scoring: Side-out scoring
Format: 3 guaranteed games (3 GG)
Structure: Pool play followed by single-elimination bracket
Awards: For 1st–3rd place finishers in the Gold brackets

Tournament - Glow In The Dark Tournament (Hosted by Crew Social Club)

Saturday, August 9 | 5-9:30 p.m.

Turn down the lights and turn up the fun with Glow in the Dark Pickleball hosted by Crew Social Club! This will be a traditional serve to score-styled tournament where partners can consist of any gender combination, and you are guaranteed 4 games (3 round-robin games with all teams making a single elimination tournament) under backlights on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 5-8 p.m.

Get ready for the ultimate junior pickleball experience with National Junior Pickleball - leading youth tournament provider in pickleball! This all-inclusive tournament offers everything young players need to make the most of their pickleball journey.

Co-Ed/Gender Neutral Doubles (2 players of any gender combination may partner)
Round robin pool play plus playoffs; 4-game minimum guarantee

Tournament - Minor League Pickleball Midwest Regional

Sunday, August 10

Earn points toward your National Leaderboard ranking and achance to qualify for the 2025 The Dink MiLP National Championship!

Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competitionwhere teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete in four 21-point games – onewomen’s doubles, one men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles. A Dreambreaker™tiebreaker match is played if both teams are tied after their four games.

Six divisions will be offered at PickleCon: DUPR 12, 14, 16, and 18, along with 14and 16 for 50+ age group

Tournament - High School Showdown - Powered by DUPR

Thursday, August 7 | Noon-5 p.m.

The IPN High School Showdown aims to develop talent, foster participation and establish a clear competitive pathway for high school teams to qualify for the High School Nationals. This event is open to players currently in high school.

High School Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other in an engaging format, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games, matches, and tiebreakers. Teams compete against each other in Matches using the MLP style format. This event is limited to 24 teams. Play is scheduled 12:00pm - 5:00pm on August 7, 2025.

Tournament - MACS PickleCon Adaptive Summer Championships

Saturday, August 9 - Sunday, August 10

In conjunction with PickleCon, Military Adaptive Court Sports (MACS) is hosting a two-day adaptive pickleball tournament with the support of Chicken N Pickle, Pickleball Galaxy, and Gearbox. Adaptive divisions will include wheelchair and hybrid (one player per team in a wheelchair) divisions, amputee divisions, and cognitive disability divisions.

MACS is also hosting a two-day pickleball tournament on Thursday and Friday (August 7-8) with the support of Pickleball Galaxy and Gearbox to raise money and support the mission of MACS. Divisions will be offered for Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles with divisions broken down by age and DUPR rating.

MACS is a veteran based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting therapeutic adaptive sports including pickleball, racquetball, badminton, table-tennis, and padel; with a focus on veterans and injured service members afflicted by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), amputation, Spinal-Cord Injuries (SCI), and substance/alcohol abuse due to the negative effects of combat exposure. MACS is committed to providing programming to help heal invisible wounds from combat that veterans have sustained while serving this country. MACS successfully achieves this mission by bringing adaptive court sports opportunities directly to veterans and injured active-duty service members through local and community venues since 2009. Event - Pickleball Club Breakout Session

The Club Breakout Session is an intimate and in-depth conversation and learning moment for club owners and facility operators. This social event will be held in a private room to encourage connection, networking, and deeper level discussions on topics that affect all clubs.
Hosted by Riley and Brady Watkins with Pickleball Club Magazine, each speaker will be interviewed on a different common topic within the pickleball club business with networking happy hours built in. There will be a finale Q&A with all 6 speakers followed by a final happy hour.

Event - Celebrity Pickleball Bash

The Kansas City Celebrity Pickleball Bash at PickleCon will bring together sports legends and top pickleball pros for an unforgettable showcase of pickletainment. This star studded event will feature Professional Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, basketball star Tyler Hansbrough and former college basketball player and sports content creator Jenna Bandy will headline the celebrity lineup. Professional basketball hype man, Franco Finn, will be the official host and emcee alongside viral mixes and mashups DJ Eric Rhodes.

Event - Nike Junior Pickleball Camp

Thursday, August 7 | 3-5 p.m.
Ages 6-14 COED
FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS

Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes and a water bottle. All campers must purchase a PickleCon Access Pass and register for this camp ahead of the event.

Directed by legendary player and instructor, Rick Witsken, the Nike Junior Pickleball Camp at PickleCon is serious fun! This one-day, 2hr clinic is designed to address your specific needs, increase your knowledge of the game and help you improve in a fun and friendly environment.

The expert Nike Pickleball coaching staff is committed to helping players develop essential pickleball skills, refine their technique, and improve strategies. Whether focusing on fundamentals or more advanced tactics, participants will receive guidance and training through dynamic drills, exciting match play, and more!

Event - Glow in the Dark Kickoff Party

Thursday, August 7 | 6-9 p.m.

Kick off PickleCon 2025 with a glow in the dark-themed party Thursday, August 7th from 6-9pm!  This epic event is included with a Thursday or Weekend Player Access Pass and open to all ages, promising a night full of excitement and fun for everyone.  Located in Hall A of the convention center, there will be vibrant music, a variety of food and drinks available, and 20 courts of glow in the dark open play managed by Crew SocialClub.  Not a fan of the dark?  We still have you covered!  There will be food, drinks, and courts for open play outside the glow area for you to participate in a brighter setting.

Event - Eatertainment Tour of KC

Friday, August 8 | 5-9 p.m.

Kansas City is home to many unique facilities that combine entertainment, food, and pickleball. On this tour, Crew Social will guide you through the city and give you a first-hand experience of two of them in one evening. Buses will pick you up and drop you off at the convention center Friday evening (5-9pm). You will spend roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes at each location, where you can eat, drink and of course, play pickleball. Open play will be facilitated by your Crew Social Club guide to maximize playing and socializing time.          

There are two Eatertainment Tour options:          

1. KC North – heading north from the convention center and visiting Chicken N Pickle North KC and Char Bar.          

2. KC South – heading south from the convention center and visiting Chicken N Pickle Overland Park and SERV.
