I’ve always been an athlete at heart. Beyond tennis and pickleball, I’ve competed in beach volleyball leagues, soccer, performed professionally in aerial silks, played a professional spikeball tournament, and even competed in beach tennis back when it was played with traditional rackets. Sport—and the performing arts—have always been my outlet for creativity, connection, and pushing limits. Pickleball just happens to be the latest (and loudest) expression of that.

Simone Jardim is one of the most accomplished athletes in professional pickleball. Originally from Brazil, she moved to the U.S. at 18 to play collegiate tennis—first at Auburn University, then at Fresno State, where she became a two-time All-American in women’s doubles. She went on to a successful coaching career, including head coaching roles at William & Mary and Michigan State University, where she led the program for eight seasons.
Simone turned pro in pickleball in 2015 and quickly rose to the top of the sport. Her career highlights include 88 pro gold medals across the U.S. Open, Tournament of Champions, USA Pickleball National Championships, PPA, and APP events. She is the only woman to earn triple crowns at all three major tournaments and held the No. 1 PPA world ranking in women’s and mixed doubles in 2021. Simone was inducted into the Pickleball Hall of Fame in 2024.
