Rising Stars Set to Take the Court at PickleCon for the Brick Wall Pro Series Futures Games

Pickleball’s rapid rise continues to be fueled by a new generation of talent—and that next wave will be on full display at PickleCon during the Brick Wall Pro Series Futures Game on Friday, July 24 from 6-9 p.m.

This year’s event brings together a diverse group of players already making an impact across professional, international, and junior circuits. From established champions to emerging competitors climbing the ranks, the lineup reflects both the current strength and future direction of the sport.

Leading the group is Oscar Serra (26), a 6.102 DUPR-rated player and the 2025 Brick Wall National Champion. Currently ranked No. 12 in Europe and No. 1 in Italy, Serra arrives at PickleCon as one of the most accomplished international players in the field.

He is joined by Parth Mody (18), who has quickly established himself as a top competitor in the Southeast. With a 5.631 DUPR rating, Mody is ranked No. 2 in Brick Wall Southeast Men’s Doubles and has already earned a medal on the PPA Challenger Series.

Among the junior ranks, Jayda Maldonado (16) stands out as one of the sport’s most promising young players. The current No. 1 on the Junior PPA Tour and MVP of the Pickleball World Cup Juniors, Maldonado continues to build an impressive résumé at an early stage in her career.

The field also features Natalie Kim (23), who has posted strong results across multiple divisions, including top-10 rankings in both Mid-Atlantic Women’s and Mixed Doubles. Her consistency across formats positions her as a versatile competitor to watch.

Ava Pisacrita (21) enters the event as the top-ranked player in Brick Wall Florida Mixed Doubles. While her current DUPR rating sits at 4.895, her recent performances suggest a trajectory that is rapidly trending upward.

Seventeen-year-old Mary McGowan has already begun to break through at the professional level, recording PPA Pro Main Draw wins while also holding the No. 2 spot in Brick Wall Mid-Atlantic Women’s Doubles.

Rounding out the group is RJ Aniño, a 5.724 DUPR-rated player ranked No. 2 in both Florida Men’s and Mixed Doubles, further adding depth and competitive balance to the lineup.

Together, this group represents a cross-section of pickleball’s evolving talent pool—players who are not only competing at a high level today, but helping shape the future of the game.

As PickleCon approaches, fans will have the opportunity to see these athletes compete live, offering a firsthand look at the skill, speed, and competitive intensity driving the sport forward.
